Minc in Malmö is heading into its most developmental year in a long time. Do you want to help shape the future of Minc — in a culture that is both warmly professional and genuinely driven to create impact?
A one-year role with a clear mandate gives you a unique opportunity to position one of Europe’s most important startup hubs. This is a one-year fixed-term position, with the potential for extension. This is one of our key roles, where you will lead and accelerate the work of strengthening Minc’s positioning — during one of our most eventful years ever.

About the Role
As Head of Brand, you will have a clear strategic mandate to develop Minc’s brands and positioning. You will be a central voice in the organization, working closely with the CEO, leadership team, and key stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
Strategic Brand Work
Develop Minc’s brands, identity, and positioning
Ensure a clear, consistent, and emotionally impactful brand experience across all channels and contexts
Lead projects that strengthen Minc’s role as a warmly professional entrepreneurial hub in Malmö and internationally
Monitor the global ecosystem and benchmark against leading incubators, accelerators, and investment structures
Communication & PR
Lead and coordinate Minc’s communications in close collaboration with internal teams
Develop PR and thought leadership strategies that strengthen Minc’s visibility in relevant audiences
Build long-term relationships with media, opinion leaders, and key ecosystem stakeholders
Support the CEO and leadership team in external communications and strategic forums
Contribute to communications with the board and owners, including Malmö City
Community & Stakeholder Communication
Ensure communications with entrepreneurs, alumni, investors, and partners are warm, inclusive, and professional
Further develop digital channels and leverage technology for automation and cutting-edge brand work
Integrate Minc’s values and sustainability ambitions into all communications
Ecosystem & Stakeholder Relations
Collaborate with Malmö City, owners, and partners to strengthen Minc’s brand positioning and actively contribute to a strong innovation ecosystem
Identify partnerships that build Minc’s long-term relevance
Cross-Functional Leadership
Act as a senior advisor on brand and communication across the organization
Create alignment, direction, and energy in teams — even without formal personnel responsibility
Actively contribute to the pride employees, entrepreneurs, stakeholders, partners, and the city feel for Minc
Who You Are
We believe you:
Have at least five years of experience in strategic brand and communication work
Preferably have experience in innovation, tech, entrepreneurship, or business development
Hold an academic degree or equivalent experience
Have documented experience in PR, thought leadership, and external representation
Are a confident and relationship-oriented communicator at all levels — including in boardrooms
Have strong digital skills and experience with automation and data-driven communication
Are creative, curious, and action-oriented — thriving in a culture where professionalism and warmth go hand in hand
Are fluent in both English and Swedish, spoken and written.
